Genuine Catalena Boy is a 2004 AQHA, ABRA, and FQHR registered Buckskin
stallion by Genuine Doc out of a daughter of Catalena Boy. He will have his IBHA
papers by breeding season of 2010, as well as APHA listing and ApHC listing so we
can book APHA and ApHC mares, his first expected App foals are due in the Summer
of 2010.
We believe that he is carrying the Splash gene due to his blue eyes and white
socks (he's also probably carrying at least one form of the Sabino gene). He is a very
unique Quarter Horse stallion with his bloodlines and color genetics.
Genuine has perfect working horse conformation, excellent bone & muscle, and a
gorgeous head that he passes on to his foals along with his extremely gentle
temperament.
He has had about 90 days under saddle, and he has proven to be a very intelligent
and athletic horse with a good mind and attitude. Genuine will be finished in Reining,
as he has the mindset, disposition, and conformation to really excel in this area. He
will be sent to the trainer to be finished in 2010, and he will be showing in 2011 in the
AQHA World Show if all goes according to plan.
